We love the sun and had fantasised for years about
having our own home in a sunny country. But, like most people we thought
we couldn’t fulfil this fantasy at our age, (30 and 36 years old). After
many calculations of our finances, we accepted Han’s invitation to have
a look at the Mazarron Country Club in Spain. During the weekend we
viewed many houses with Hans Kortekaas all within our price range.
Everything was fantastic but we couldn’t find our dream home. When we
said goodbye to Hans Kortekaas he promised to call us as soon as he had
a house for sale which met all our expectations. Two months later we got
the phone call we had been waiting for. With a lot of anticipation we
travelled to Spain. The flight took 2 hours and 15 minutes and then an
hour and 15 minute drive to the house. Hans Kortekaas had remembered all
our expectations and it was love at first sight when we saw the house.
Friends and family had advised us not to make any hasty decisions and to
be extremely careful as there are many cheats in this industry, but that
same weekend we decided to go ahead with this purchase. Due to the
guidance and support we received from Hans Kortekaas we had no
reservations regarding what we were about to do. (We were advised to
take out a small mortgage in Spain so everything would be ok. The bank
wouldn’t give us a mortgage if the papers of the house were not in
order.) Since June 2005 we have enjoyed our Spanish home and have been
there for holidays and many weekends. Our dream has come true through
the know-how and enthusiasm of Hans Kortekaas. |
