Please allow me to
introduce myself;
My name is Hans Kortekaas and I have been
working as a broker in Spain for many years. I
offer QUALITY SERVICE & EXPERTISE, especially
with buying, selling, renting or letting out
houses in foreign countries. Such a big step
deserves care and attention. Along with the
experience and market knowledge I also
understand the emotional reasons behind a buyers
decision, and I can provide the personal touch.
Detailed below is the way I work: |

Step 1 – (the
acquaintance)
More often than not the first contact with
potential clients is mostly during presentations
in hotels/markets. Now the first contact is
generally through the recommendation of existing
clients. Satisfied clients lead us to potential
clients. In other words: SATISFIED CLIENTS
BECOME OUR SALES DEPARTMENT. I often visit
the client at home to discuss their buying,
selling, renting or letting needs. |

Step 2 – (the finance)
To make your dream come true in a foreign country it
is very important to have a sound financial plan. There
are several ways you can do this:
- The Crossborder Mortgage (Many Dutch banks offer
mortgages for houses in foreign countries. For
example: ABN-AMRO or RABOBANK)
- Your own savings including the value of your own
house in The Netherlands minus the mortgage
- Your own savings including a mortgage with a
Spanish bank, for example Banco Popular, Bank Inter
or Cam Bank.
If you prefer, you can use your own private financial
adviser to help you come to the best financial solution. |

Step 3 – (the trip to
Spain)
We will assist you with your journey to
Spain, and we will be with you throughout your
stay. We have several houses in this beautiful
resort so you can easily relax and think things
over during your stay here. We can guide you in
and around the resort to see all the streets,
houses and the area. If you prefer we can
arrange this all for you, but you can also come
to Spain on your own and make an appointment
with us. |
Step 4 (the decision)
After your visit, if you wish to proceed with
a house purchase then we will do everything we
can to make your dream happen. Our way of
thinking is: EVERY NEW CLIENT BECOMES A NEW
SALESMAN. |
Step 5 (the
accompaniment)
Through the internet and email it is possible
to keep you informed during the building of your
house. Of course you are welcome to visit Spain
at anytime to see it for yourself. We can also
assist you in organising the interior decoration
/ landscaping of your house and garden for both
new and existing homes.
Step 6 (the notary)
On the day you get the keys of your new house
we have to visit the notary to sign the
“Escritura” (contract). And, of course, your own
Crossborderbroker will be there to help you.
Step 7 (the keys)
Once you have the keys why not celebrate with a glass
of champagne. |
